Last Minute Coach Hire this Christmas

It has really snuck up on us, don’t panic but it’s now December! That means the number of days we’ve got left for Christmas shopping is getting critically low.

Not to panic, though, there are plenty of places to head when you want to go shopping, and you’re sure to find everything you could possibly need for shopping in Liverpool or Manchester.

Stress free

Travelling into a big city like Liverpool or Manchester can be a pain sometimes. At Christmas time, this is only exacerbated with the rush of last minute shoppers. From the moment you arrive at the Christmas Markets to the multiple journeys criss-crossing the city, you will wish there was a better option.

Thankfully there is! Booking a last minute minibus or coach trip for you and your friends will mean you don’t have to catch specific connections, battle through crowds to get on the train or even know where you’re going. You can just sit back and relax as a big coach driver takes you to the heart of your shopping experience. In our opinion, it’s the only way to travel; especially at this time of year!

Make it fun!

What could be better than shopping with friends? Booking a minibus or coach makes it easier for you to make a day of it as a larger group. You can all travel together, arrive at the same time and know where you need to be at any given time.

To add to this, you can also give your trip a little cosmopolitan trip. If you were driving to your Christmas shopping destination, it would mean not being able to stop off for a drink during the day. However, if you get the coach, you and friends can nip in somewhere festive for a bite to eat for lunch and even a few cocktails, hic. It’ll really help to break up the day and make the whole thing feel more like an event.

Getting home

Imagine if you were planning to head back home after you picked up everything you could possibly want for Christmas on the train, only to find there’s nowhere to store all of the presents you’ve bought. It’s a nightmare, but a real possibility when you’re travelling via this method. It can even restrict what you buy.

For our coach travellers, however, there is the added bonus of storage space under the coach. This means you can buy as much as you want, and have the peace of mind that there’ll be more than enough space under the coach to carry all of your presents home.

Christmas at Liverpool One
The countdown to Christmas officially begins in Liverpool on Thursday 9th November 2017 when the iconi30-metre tree will be lit up at 6pm.

The party starts at 4pm that day with festive street performances, including storytelling, dancing, singing and lots of special effects.

There will be appearances from Christmas panto stars and Santa is even expected to stop by to wish everyone well before his busiest time of the year.

After the lights are switched on, people can head into Bar Hutte located underneath the Christmas tree for a festive tipple. If that’s not your thing, you can go up to Chavasse Park, where there will be more Christmas food and drink stalls, plus children’s attractions and rides.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
Treat the kids to a festival of all things Christmassy with a trip to Winter Wonderland, which is now in its 11th year. The Magical Ice Kingdom will showcase snow and ice sculptures centred around the theme of water creatures, while Zippos Circus will see acrobats flying through the air.

When it’s time to refuel, the Bavarian Village and Ice Bar offer refreshments that very much fit in with the theme of the occasion. From hot food to steaming drinks, it’s a great way to keep warm and everyone fed and watered.

Finally, finish your visit with a ride on the Giant Observation Wheel. You’ll have fantastic views over London and will be able to see all the twinkling Christmas lights.

Winter Wonderland is taking place at Hyde Park, from November 17th to January 1st.
